Reports To:Manager, IT and Cybersecurity Consulting Department
Job Summary: Ensure the provision of required technical support to the users within the Company and maintain optimal performance of systems, devices, and networks.
Address technical issues, enhance performance, and ensure the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure, thereby ensuring seamless daily operations and achieving the Company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Providing Technical Support
· Addressing user inquiries related to hardware and software.
· Promptly and efficiently troubleshooting technical issues.
· Offering guidance and instructions to users to enhance system utilization.
B. Managing Hardware and Software
· Installing and configuring computers, printers, and other peripherals.
· Installing and updating software and applications as required.
· Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of hardware.
C. Network Management
· Monitoring network performance to ensure stability and efficiency.
· Setting up and maintaining Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
· Resolving network connectivity issues and ensuring network security.
D. System Maintenance
· Conducting preventive maintenance for systems and hardware.
· Updating operating systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Monitoring systems to detect and resolve potential issues before they disrupt operations.
E. Information Security
· Implementing security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
· Assisting in securing systems against cyber threats and malware.
· Supporting backup and data recovery procedures.
F. Process Documentation
· Logging technical issues and related solutions to build a knowledge base.
· Preparing periodic reports on the status of systems and hardware.
· Maintaining maintenance and updates logs.
G. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to them by the direct manager or higher positions
Ø Knowledge:
· Knowledge of the latest technologies used in business settings.
· Knowledge of methods for utilizing technology in communication and information processing
· Knowledge of Microsoft software environment.
· Knowledge of designing and implementing new solutions/ technologies.
Ø Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in operating systems
· Network setup and maintenance skills
· Software configuration and finetuning skills
· Ability to manage Cloud computing services and databases
· Providing remote technical support to users
Candidate Profile:
· Requirement open for all nationals
· Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any relevant major
· Experience of 5+ years in relevant field
· Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft Certified: Windows Client, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner & Google Cloud Digital Leader are a plus.
