Job Description
Oversee the internal audit team by providing direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Review and approve audit plans, engagement work programs, and audit reports prepared by the team.
Develop and implement comprehensive annual audit plans aligned with organizational objectives and risks.
Monitor audit progress and ensure audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and strengthen controls.
Conduct follow up audits.
Prepare and present audit findings to the management.
Ensure audit reports accurately reflect the results of audits with risk ratings and actionable recommendations.
Foster effective communication with auditees to address issues and implement corrective measures.
Supervise audit activities across Kuwait and other branches, ensuring consistency in audit practices and reporting standards.
Perform any other duty requested by the Executive Manager.
Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Equivalent.
4-7 years of relevant experience.
CIA certification or equivalent preferable
