Humanities Faculty (Full-Time Ethics and Part-Time Psychology)
Overview:
The School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for two teaching positions:
- Full-Time Faculty in Ethics with a strong background in Business or Applied Ethics
- Part-Time Faculty in Psychology for undergraduate instruction on a part-time basis
We are looking for academically qualified, student-centered educators who can deliver high-quality instruction and contribute to the intellectual life of the university. These roles support our interdisciplinary focus on critical thinking, ethics, and behavioral science.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in assigned subject areas (Ethics or Psychology)
- Develop and update syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes
- Create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that supports student success
- Provide timely feedback, academic support, and office hours as appropriate
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with institutional policies
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Stay current in relevant academic fields and instructional best practices
Qualifications: Full-Time Ethics Faculty:
- Master’s or higher in Business, Ethics, or a related field
- Specialization or significant experience in Business Ethics or Applied Ethics
- Minimum of two years of university-level teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior business or industry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with integrating ethics into multidisciplinary programs
Adjunct Psychology Faculty:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field
- At least one year of teaching experience at the college level preferred
- Experience with online or hybrid instruction is an advantage
- Ability to engage students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds
