Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, recruitment, and payroll management. You will play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the smooth execution of daily HR functions. This position is essential for maintaining a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The HR Officer will also be involved in employee engagement initiatives and contribute to the overall development of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding.
  2. Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  3. Oversee and process payroll activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with Kuwait labor laws regarding wages, benefits, and deductions.
  4. Handle employee documentation, contracts, and performance evaluations, ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with company policy.
  5. Address employee inquiries and resolve workplace issues in coordination with management, fostering a positive work environment.
  6. Organize training and development programs to support staff growth and enhance employee skills.
  7. Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports as needed, analyzing data to inform management decisions.
  8. Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor laws and company policies, conducting regular audits of HR practices.
  9. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  10. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies and workplace satisfaction.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Currently residing in Kuwait with a strong understanding of the local job market.
  2. Familiarity with local labor laws and HR best practices.
  3. Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage, enhancing communication with diverse employee groups.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  7. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to HR challenges.
  8. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on HR trends.
  9. Experience in employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  10. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline HR processes.
