Job Description

The HR Officer plays a crucial role in managing the human resources functions of a trading and commodity trading company in Kuwait. This position is essential for ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and develops a skilled workforce. The HR Officer will be responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and supporting the overall business strategy through effective human resource management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  2. Support onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  3. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  4. Facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
  5. Manage employee relations by addressing grievances and conducting investigations as necessary.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  7. Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  8. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
  9. Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and develop staffing plans.
  10. Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making processes.
