Job Summary
The HR Manager, Rewards & Performance Management, is responsible for developing and implementing fixed compensation frameworks, pay structures, and salary benchmarking initiatives to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and regulatory compliance. The role also supports related processes such as job grading, competency frameworks, and organization position management to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role bridges strategic design and operational execution of key compensation initiatives, driving organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
1. Fixed Compensation: · Design and manage the fixed compensation framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market standards. · Conduct annual reviews to ensure internal equity and fairness in salary adjustments.
2. Pay Structure Design: · Develop and implement salary structures and pay bands across job levels and functions. · Ensure pay structures are competitive and compliant with local regulations.
3. Pay Equity Analysis: · Conduct regular pay equity analyses to identify and address potential disparities based on role, performance, and demographic factors.
4. Salary Benchmarking: · Perform market salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices. · Collaborate with external consultants and data providers to gather and analyze salary data.
5. Job Architecture Management: · Oversee job grading, competency frameworks, and role evaluations to ensure organizational alignment. · Collaborate on initiatives to support career development and workforce planning.
6. Organization Design and Position Management: · Support position control and workforce alignment processes. · Collaborate with leadership to implement organizational design adjustments.
7. Policy Development & Governance: · Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures related to rewards and compensation, ensuring consistency with organizational goals. · Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to HR teams and leaders on the application and interpretation of compensation policies.
8. Team Leadership & Collaboration: · Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR Specialist team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality execution of compensation initiatives. · Collaborate with other HR functions to integrate compensation strategies with broader talent management and organizational development plans.
Candidate Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
· 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in HR, with at least 2 to 3 years in a team lead role handling compensation, incentive design, benefits, policies, strategic workforce planning, and performance management in a large, multi-business organization.
Technical Skills:
· Strong functional knowledge of fixed compensation frameworks and job evaluation processes.
· Expertise in salary benchmarking and pay equity analysis.
· Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with expertise in MS Excel.
· Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
