Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Generalist to support the daily operations of our HR department. The ideal candidate will have experience in various HR functions, from hiring and onboarding to payroll management and legal compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who is familiar with HR laws, employee relations, and government procedures, particularly in Kuwait and the GCC countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Operations Support: Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters, ensuring smooth HR processes and operations.
  2. Policy and Procedure Development: Participate in developing and implementing organizational guidelines, HR procedures, and best practices.
  3. Payroll and Benefits Management: Oversee employee payroll, benefits administration, bonuses, leave management, and absence tracking.
  4. Employee Records Management: Organize and maintain both hard and soft copies of employee records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  5. Government Procedures and Documentation: Handle government-related procedures, including the renewal and issuance of residence permits, civil IDs, and other related documentation. Use online systems for related transactions.
  6. Social Insurance and Payments: Ensure employees are properly registered with social insurance in Kuwait and the GCC, and accurately calculate monthly payments.
  7. Performance and Employee Feedback: Process performance evaluation documentation, prepare reports, and analyze employee satisfaction survey results to implement actionable insights to improve employee experience.
  8. Problem-Solving: Provide timely and efficient solutions to HR-related issues, ensuring smooth employee relations and addressing concerns promptly.
  9. Communication with Public Services: Maintain communication with public services as required for HR processes.
  10. Policy Reinforcement and Compliance: Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring employee safety and adherence to HR regulations and labor laws.
  11. Labor Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and federal labor laws, including employee relations, sanctions lists, and handling any labor-related issues.
  12. Recruitment and Selection: Review and select resumes, update recruitment databases, and assist in coordinating staffing processes.
  13. Onboarding and Employee Orientation: Plan and execute effective onboarding strategies and deliver comprehensive employee orientation to provide a positive first experience.
  14. Employee Relations: Recommend and develop employee relations practices that foster a positive work environment and strong employer-employee relations.
  15. Job Descriptions and Requirements Updates: Maintain and update job descriptions and requirements for all positions in line with HR objectives and company needs.
  16. Exit Interviews and Analysis: Conduct exit interviews, analyze results, and make actionable recommendations to improve employee retention.
  17. Training and Development: Arrange seminars, workshops, and HR training sessions to meet departmental needs and promote continuous professional development.
  18. Recruitment Support: Assist in recruiting efforts by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
