Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional challenges.
- Develop and implement programs to support students’ well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Assist students with goal setting, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor academic progress and offer guidance for improving performance.
- Provide resources and support for post-secondary planning.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field.
- Certification as a School Counselor is preferred.
- Proven experience in counseling at the high school level.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
