About the job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Driver role to join our Transportation team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach, Kuwait.

Your main duties will include:

• They should always have a smiling, helpful and friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests alike and provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Drive safely at all times adhering to all traffic laws and speed limits keeping in mind the safety of the guests and maintain the vehicles in proper shape.
• Operate heavy-duty buses on assigned routes and schedules.
• Transfer guests from and to Kuwait International Airport.
• Stock the limousines with daily newspapers, drinking water, cold towels, hotel brochures and CD’s.
• Take the vehicles to the car wash on a regular basis making sure they are clean from the in and outside at all times.
• Open the vehicle doors for the guests and assist them to get in and out as well as to look after their luggage.
• Know all the roads in Kuwait and also be familiar with traffic regulations.
• Report any accidents and damage on the vehicles to the Team Leader immediately.
• Avoid using the mobile phone when guests are in the vehicle and always use the hands-free set whilst driving.
• Always adhere to the given schedule keeping in mind heavy traffic during rush hours.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Keep their truck, buss and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the maintenance team.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior.
• Provide excellent customer service and address passenger inquiries.

Qualifications:

About you:

• Should have 2-year minimum customer service in a five-star hotel.
• Proven experience in operating heavy-duty vehicles..
• Work in a multicultural environment.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving license.
• Well versed English communication and writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
