Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead and execute marketing strategies for our e-commerce platform. This position is critical in driving brand growth, enhancing customer engagement, and fostering relationships with our vendors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce and digital marketing, be fluent in English and Arabic, and have a deep understanding of the regional market.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and oversee the execution of the e-commerce and digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, influencer, and content marketing, to drive brand awareness and sales.


2. Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team with a focus on digital innovation.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the marketing department.


3. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with vendor relations teams to support and promote vendor offerings across the platform.
- Serve as a point of contact between marketing and vendor stakeholders to ensure campaigns are effectively implemented.


4. Market Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer behavior, preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize insights to refine digital marketing strategies and optimize the customer journey.


5. Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across campaigns.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.


6. Brand Development:
- Drive brand positioning and messaging to establish the company as a leading e-commerce platform.
- Oversee content creation in both English and Arabic to ensure culturally relevant, engaging, and consistent messaging across all platforms.


7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with product, design, and tech teams to enhance the online shopping experience and implement customer feedback.
- Coordinate with customer service teams to align on customer communication and improve satisfaction.


Requirements


- Experience: 7+ years in a senior marketing role, with a focus on e-commerce and digital marketing; experience in the MENA region is highly desirable.
- Language: Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data to optimize marketing efforts.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and performance marketing metrics.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
