Job Description

Education & Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA in finance & accounting
  • 15+ years of experience, with a focus on the Automotive Industry
  • Knowledge of Egypt's Tax, Labor laws, Central Bank policies, and macroeconomic trends
  • Industry preference: Power solutions, Distribution, Heavy Electricals, Trading

Description

In this role, you will be responsible in supporting the financial management and operations of the company, working under the guidance of the Head of Finance (Automotive Group)


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee timely preparation of monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, KPIs, and other financial reports, including cash management, CAPEX, and working capital.
  • Revenue & Profit Management: Drive topline growth and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with business heads.
  • Tax & Compliance: Lead tax planning and ensure compliance with Egypt's tax regulations, Pillar Two, and global standards. Manage tax assessments and submissions.
  • Controllership: Ensure full control over accounting and preparation of statutory financials in compliance with IFRS and EAS standards.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and bank relationships, optimizing treasury functions and mitigating FX risk.
  • Audit & Regulatory Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain relationships with government authorities and consultants.
  • Operational Support: Provide financial guidance to operations, participate in business reviews, and drive cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, monitoring performance against financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Cost Rationalization: Identify financial risks, drive cost-saving initiatives, and implement process improvements.
  • Supplier & Inventory Management: Oversee supplier incentives, rebates, and inventory costing within the automotive industry.
  • Participate in business reviews and improvement initiatives, driving cost-effectiveness across the organization.
  • Identify, Escalate and mitigate Financial Risks to ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure robust audit trails are maintained and effectively implement recommendations from both internal and external audit reports.

  • Define and monitor Business performance based on KPI’s and Industry benchmarks
