Job Description

We are seeking a UI/UX Graphic Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. The ideal candidate is proficient in Figma and understands how to blend creativity with user-centric design principles. You will work closely with our product and development teams to translate concepts into seamless, engaging designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, marketing) to understand project goals and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Design engaging, intuitive, and responsive UI/UX layouts for web and mobile applications using Figma.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistent design throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs to improve user experience.
  • Translate user needs and business objectives into functional and visually compelling interfaces.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility and implementation of designs.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in design reviews, presenting your work and receiving feedback constructively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects, including web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user journey mapping.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and functional designs.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and design systems.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with motion graphics and interactive designs.
  • Familiarity with front-end development or collaboration with development teams.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.


Skills

  • Expert Proficiency in Figma: Deep knowledge of Figma's features, including prototyping, component creation, design systems, auto-layout, and collaboration tools.
  • UI/UX Design Expertise: Strong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles, including design thinking, user journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Graphic Design Proficiency: Knowledge of layout principles, typography, color theory, and the ability to create visually appealing graphics, icons, and illustrations.
  • User-Centered Design: Ability to design with the user in mind, creating intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for a diverse audience.
  • Design Systems Management: Experience in creating and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency across multiple projects.
  • Prototyping & Interaction Design: Ability to create interactive prototypes in Figma to test user flows and animations. Familiarity with micro-interactions and animation to improve user engagement.
  • Research & Usability Testing: Experience with conducting user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to gather data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on ensuring design quality, consistency, and precision across platforms.
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design: Understanding how to design for multiple devices and platforms (mobile, tablet, desktop) with a focus on adaptive and responsive design principles.
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Front-End Development Knowledge (optional but preferred): Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end technologies to better collaborate with developers.

Bonus Skills:

  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Experience with creating animations, micro-interactions, or motion design elements to enhance user experience.
  • Experience with Other Design Tools: Knowledge of tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Accessibility Design: Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure products are usable by people with disabilities.
  • SEO/UI Integration: Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and how UI design choices can impact search performance.
