Graphic and Digital Design Teacher

TITLE: GRAPHIC AND DIGITAL DESIGN TEACHER

REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL

Primary Purpose:

The Digital Design course is fully responsible for teaching students Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Premiere CC, 3D Basic modeling, and AUTODESK MAYA

Responsibilities:

• Teaches IT or Yearbook courses to students in grades 6-12 using American curriculum and standards.
• Work collaboratively with the IT department.
• Train students on programs such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Premiere CC, 3D Basic modeling, and AUTODESK MAYA.
• Taking pictures of key occasions for web updates, Journalism classes, and Yearbook submission.
• May be responsible to assist the IT Support Team when needed.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
• Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Graphic design, or equivalent.
• Proactive in handling all responsibilities in dealing with students.
• Excellent time management skills.
