General Mechanic

Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and automotive equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Install new mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and codes.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and any other relevant details.
• Prepare reports on the condition of mechanical systems and recommend necessary actions for improvements or replacements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to mechanical systems and equipment.
• Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Provide general support to the maintenance team as needed.
