Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of our luxury furniture showroom and the soon-to-open mall outlet. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader with a passion for luxury retail, strong management skills, and a deep understanding of the high-end market. The General Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing the team, and ensuring a premium customer experience across both locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and operations team.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and luxury customer service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to ensure team development.
2. Sales & Profitability
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and increase foot traffic.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and sales techniques aligned with the brands luxury positioning.
3. Customer Experience
- Ensure a world-class shopping experience for every customer by maintaining impeccable store environments and delivering personalized service.
- Handle VIP clients and resolve any customer issues with poise and professionalism.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
4. Brand Representation & Partnerships
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the brands identity is upheld in all aspects of operations, from sales to customer interactions.
- Develop partnerships with architects, interior designers, and other influencers in the luxury furniture and design industry.
- Attend industry events and represent the brand in networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
5. Financial & Operational Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for both locations, overseeing all financial operations including sales forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement in sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and luxury standards across all departments.
6. Marketing & Business Development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create in-store events, product launches, and campaigns to drive brand engagement.
- Utilize digital and social media platforms to enhance customer outreach and maintain the brands exclusivity.
- Proactively seek business development opportunities to grow the brands presence and customer base.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the luxury retail sector, preferably in furniture or interior design.
- Strong understanding of the luxury market, customer expectations, and high-end product lines.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in dealing with high-end clientele.
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to analyze sales data and financial reports.
- Proficiency in retail software and CRM systems.
