Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of unique and tailored Food and Beverage concepts for new hotel openings and Capex projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market trends.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of F&B Operations to create detailed concept briefs, engaging internal partners such as Technical Services, Architecture and Design, Operations, and Brands for input and review.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders including Hotel Operations, Technical Services, Architecture and Design, and Supply Management to support the implementation of Food and Beverage concepts and design processes.
- Provide strategic guidance to Business Unit F&B operations and management, focusing on brand integrity, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and asset maintenance.
- Maintain regular communication and meetings with regional Directors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress on F&B initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities for new concepts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market demand.
- Monitor project schedules and deadlines, tracking monthly progress and ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Food and Beverage brand initiatives and programs, actively participating in related special projects and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Manage relationships with third-party partners including vendors, designers, consultants, and concept partners, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness of services.
- Support new openings through critical path management, task force coordination, countdown planning, and on-site support as needed.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Food & Beverage Operations team, conducting regular performance evaluations, facilitating career development, and addressing employee concerns effectively.
- Coach and mentor team members to deliver exceptional service, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in F&B operations.

External: Dubai Holding, Asset Owners and Managers, Government Officials, Industry Bodies, and Industry Peers.
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or in another relevant field
- Management qualification from a recognized hotel or business school

Experience

- Minimum of 8 years in management roles overseeing multiple outlets, with a strong focus on pre-opening activities and strategic leadership.
- Proven ability to work effectively with culturally diverse teams, fostering collaboration and inclusivity in a dynamic hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, high-end F&B operations, showcasing exceptional business acumen and operational expertise.
- Strong background in creative and innovative food and beverage concept development, with a keen understanding of market trends and guest preferences.
- Expertise in menu compilation, layout, and design, coupled with experience in negotiating with suppliers to optimize value and quality.
- Track record of achieving tangible results in improving customer satisfaction and profitability through strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
- Experience in managing and developing teams, providing mentorship and guidance to cultivate talent and facilitate career advancement within the organization.
