Job Description

Responsibilities•Implement effective financial control measures across the Business Division including Cash Management, CAPEX & Working Capital Management•Collaborate closely with Business Head on relevant operational aspects; provide suitable advice, support in fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships.•Participate in Business reviews, improvement initiatives, drive cost effectiveness across Business.•Assess the profitability of various product lines, monitor margins, and drive initiatives to improve financial outcomes•Manage financial aspects related to product development, manufacturing, marketing, and end-of-life phases, including understanding cost structures, effectively manage Product Lifecycle Management•Identify, escalate and mitigate Financial Risks.•Develop and implement Chart of Accounts, Systems set up and Processes in line with Business requirements.•Contribute to modernization of finance processes, controls reporting team and organization.•Develop or recommend practical solutions to address financial challenges or issues.•Collect, analyze, and review financial and business performance data to provide actionable insights.

Educational QualificationsEducation Degree: MastersMajor: • Finance • Qualified Finance Professional with CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA credentialsExperienceYears of Experience: 15 - 20  YearsField of Experience: Consumer Durables, Retail, and Distribution sectorsSkills•Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making.•Experience in overseeing Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory, Warehouse & Logistics Management•Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar role.•Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting concepts, along with clarity in the application of IFRS and IAS standards.•Strong understanding of Cost control strategies, particularly in areas like manufacturing, procurement, and distribution•Knowledge of Inventory management and Procurement practices in the Consumer Durable Industry, including working with suppliers, understanding lead times, and managing component costs.•Familiar with Pricing dynamics in electronics, including cost-plus pricing, competitive pricing, and promotions.•Strong capabilities in using data analytics tools to gather insights and make informed financial decisions (e.g., using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau).•Expertise in financial negotiations with suppliers and vendors, as well as managing the financial aspects of partnerships with major manufacturers.•High degree of Accountability, Integrity & Responsibility.•Self-driven with the ability to focus on key priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster teamwork while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.•Technically strong to manage team of talented finance professionals with proven leadership being a•Proven leadership abilities, including team-building and motivational skills.•Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.•Strong acumen and understanding of business operations.
