Position Overview:
The Executive Business Operations Officer – Office of the CEO is an entry-level executive leadership role designed for ambitious MBA graduates seeking hands-on experience in business strategy, operations, and organizational leadership. This role provides direct exposure to the university’s executive decision-making processes and collaborates closely with senior leadership across key functions, including Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Finance, Administration, and Campus Operations.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Business Operations Officer will support high-impact initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and gain leadership experience through structured departmental rotations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop critical executive skills, strategic insight, and a comprehensive understanding of higher education administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Support:
Assist the CEO in executing key strategic initiatives and ensuring departmental alignment. Conduct research, data analysis, and market assessments to support high-level decision-making. Identify and implement operational efficiencies across university functions. Leadership Development & Cross-Functional Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership (Vice Presidents and Directors) to gain hands-on experience in university management and operations. Participate in structured rotations across key departments to develop a well-rounded leadership perspective. Lead and contribute to special projects that enhance institutional growth and operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication:
Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for the CEO. Serve as a liaison between the CEO’s office and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and follow-through on key initiatives. Represent the CEO’s office in high-level meetings, negotiations, and institutional events.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) required (recent graduates preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence in engaging senior leadership. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced executive environment. Demonstrated interest in business strategy, organizational leadership, and higher education administration.
