Job Description

  • Installation: Install HVAC ducts, including round, rectangular, and spiral ducts, in new construction and existing buildings.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain existing duct systems, ensuring optimal airflow and system performance.
  • Reading Blueprints: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of duct systems and other components.
  • Cutting & Shaping: Measure, cut, and shape metal sheets and other materials to fit duct systems as per design requirements.
  • Sealing & Insulating: Properly seal duct joints and connections to prevent air leakage and insulate ducts to maintain energy efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while working on-site, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that all installed ducts meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other HVAC professionals, contractors, and site managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in duct fitting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and duct installation techniques.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
  • Communication: A basic understanding of Arabic or English is preferred.
  • Visa: Must hold a transferable visa (Article 18).
