Job Description

The Document Controller plays a crucial role in the construction and manufacturing sectors by ensuring that all project documentation is organized, accurate, and accessible. This position is vital for maintaining compliance with industry standards and facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of documents, tracking revisions, and ensuring that all team members have access to the latest versions of project documents. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain a document control system to track all project documentation.
  2. Review and verify the accuracy of documents before distribution.
  3. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  4. Maintain an organized filing system for both electronic and hard copy documents.
  5. Monitor document revisions and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of changes.
  6. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project meetings.
  7. Implement and enforce document control procedures and policies.
  8. Provide training and support to team members on document management systems.
  9. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to documentation.
  10. Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Fluency in English.
  7. Background in the construction or manufacturing sector is preferred.
  8. Possession of a valid driving license is advantageous.
  9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  10. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  11. Willingness to join the team within a month of the offer.
