Job Description

The Division Manager for Consumer Electronics is a pivotal role within the retail and wholesale sector, particularly in Kuwait. This position entails overseeing the operations of the consumer electronics division, ensuring that the business meets its strategic goals while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in retail management, with a strong focus on consumer electronics, and will be responsible for driving sales growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the performance of the consumer electronics division.
  2. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of sales and operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  4. Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demand.
  5. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the consumer electronics sector.
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  8. Analyze financial reports and metrics to assess the division's performance and make informed decisions.
  9. Implement training programs to enhance the skills of the team and improve customer service.
  10. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that drive traffic and sales.

  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficient in using retail management software and tools.
  8. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  9. Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
