Job Description

The Cost/Financial Controller plays a crucial role in the Project & Construction Planning sector, ensuring that financial operations align with the strategic goals of the organization. This position is essential for maintaining financial integrity and providing accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, cost control, and project accounting, particularly within the construction industry. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  2. Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  3. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  4. Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  5. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  7. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  8. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
  9. Provide training and guidance to project teams on financial management practices.
  10. Continuously seek improvements in financial processes and reporting systems.
