Job Description

Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive (DME)

Department: Corporate Marketing Department (Centralized Corporate Function)

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reporting to: Corporate Director, Strategy & Business Planning, Safir Hotels & Resorts

Indirect Reports: (Corporate) Creative Design Specialist

Supervises: None – Supports and guides SBU Social Media Marketing Team

 

SCOPE OF POSITION

As a Digital Marketing Executive (DME) at Safir Hotels & Resorts, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing effective digital and social media marketing strategies. These strategies will drive guest engagement, enhance brand awareness, and support the marketing efforts of the Kuwait Hotels Company (KHC) Corproate and its subsidiaries, including various business brands and Hotel Strategic Business Units (SBUs). Your role requires a strategic mindset, creative execution, and the ability to foster strong client and guest relationships. You will collaborate closely with Corporate Brands and Hotel portfolios to develop and execute content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create, manage, and maintain engaging content across digital and social media platforms to promote the company’s products and services, ensuring alignment with corporate brand guidelines.
  2. Develop social media calendars for all KHC brands and design strategies that include competitive analysis, platform selection, audience targeting, and analytics tracking.
  3. Planned and executed corporate social media marketing plans and annual calendar campaigns to maintain consistent audience engagement.
  4. Enhance corporate and SBU digital accounts by increasing followers and engagement through creative activations and managing social influencer programs.
  5. Coordinate digital plans with Corporate and SBU teams and the Head of Sales to ensure unified campaign messaging throughout the sales pipeline.
  6. Seek approvals for all visuals, reels, and creative briefs, ensuring they meet brand guidelines.
  7. Capture and develop high-quality content and photography while brainstorming innovative ideas for product growth.
  8. 8.    Proactively promote SBUs’ activities, including rooms, food and beverage, and banquets/conferences.
  9. Analyze marketing metrics to understand cause-and-effect relationships and stay informed on emerging marketing trends.
  10. Provide guidance to the marketing team and agencies to align with the overall strategy.
  11. Ensure compliance with corporate social media guidelines, maintain brand identity, and support aligning offline promotional activities with online presence.
  12. Manage and monitor SBU social media accounts, ensuring consistent growth in followers and engagement through regular reporting and follow-up.
  13. Contribute to the organization and execution of promotional events and activities.
  14. Meet all Corporate Marketing deadlines, ensuring all published content is error-free and approved through the proper channels.


DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Regularly publish and repost content across social media platforms, adhering to best practices and ensuring timely execution.

·    Generate insightful monthly reports, analyzing campaign performance, identifying growth opportunities, and making strategic recommendations.

·    Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and digital marketing strategies to stay ahead of market developments.

·    Assist in organizing and promoting marketing exposure at trade exhibitions, roadshows, and other relevant events.

 

WEBSITE CONTENT AND SEO OPTIMIZATION

·    Update and optimize website content for accuracy, relevance, and SEO performance.

·    Monitor SEO, web traffic metrics, social media campaigns, and website integration, conducting weekly reviews and providing strategic recommendations for optimization.

·    Incorporate high-ranking keywords into content, and product descriptions.

·    Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and enhances user experience.

·    Regularly audit and revise content to stay current with SEO trends and improve engagement.

·    Develop SEO-friendly meta descriptions, title tags, and alt text for images

 

DIGITAL ADVERTISING AND PPC CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

·    Develop and manage targeted digital ad campaigns across platforms, including Google Ads and social media.

·    Create compelling ad copy and visuals tailored to specific audiences.

·    Research and optimize keywords to improve ad performance and ROI.

·    Monitor and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize campaign effectiveness.

·    Analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

 

ONLINE REPUTATION MANAGEMENT & GUEST SATISFACTION SURVEYS

·    Review and analyze social network and profile results for multiple SBUs from a unified dashboard.

·    Track and report on corporate reputation drivers and rankings, offering insights for operational and service-related improvements.

·    Monitor and benchmark social media activities, preparing performance analyses that include rankings, sentiment, and competitive analysis across the chain.

·    Encourage SBUs to increase response rates and oversee management responses to enhance engagement.

·    Review Brand vs. Brand competition results, identifying key areas for improvement.

·    Provide competitor analysis reports focusing on key reputation KPIs.

·    Prepare reports on index, volume, distribution, and semantic mentions, comparing them against established goals.

 

CRM MANAGEMENT AND EMAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS:

·    Maintain and update the CRM database, ensuring accurate customer information for targeted marketing.

·    Segment customer data to create personalized whatsApp and email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.

·    Design, execute, and optimize whatsApp and email marketing campaigns, monitoring performance metrics like open rates and click-through rates.

·    Analyze customer behavior and campaign results to refine CRM strategies and improve guest retention.

·    Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align CRM and email efforts with business goals.

·    Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices in CRM and email marketing.

·    Generate and analyze reports to provide insights for ongoing improvements.


MARKETING DIGITAL COMMUNICATION PLAN:

·    Implement the Digital Marketing Strategy while maintaining Corporate Brand Standards across platforms and optimizing resource use.

·    Organize and coordinate marketing efforts at key trade exhibitions and roadshows.

·    Research and analyze market conditions, digital trends, and competition to guide strategic decisions.

·    Foster a culture of hospitality excellence and manage social media content across Corporate Divisions and Business Units.

 

CORPORATE, SUBSIDIARIES & PORTFOLIO BRANDS:

·    Protect the integrity of each brand's personality, ensuring consistency in how the brand is represented and interacts with guests and  strtegic partners.

·    Consider the overall guest experience and brand perception in all interactions with the organization.

 

MEASUREMENTS & REPORTING:

·    Develop and manage digital reports for all local and regional accounts, using social listening and monitoring tool to ensure alignment in content, events, and tone of voice.

·    Track and report on the performance of all digital and social media activations, engagements, impressions, reach and ROI.

·    Ensure that digital data and budgets are monitored and reported accurately.

·    Benchmark progress against competitors, using data-driven insights and clear analysis to support business goals and drive continuous improvement in digital marketing efforts.
