Job Description
The core task of the Copywriter is to be a key partner in our editorial and content optimization process for all produced printed/published content. You will continuously look for new opportunities for content execution and regularly explore and test different content formats and styles to build a strong emotional connection with our customers in all our markets. You will be responsible for taking consumer-targeted printed/web content from concept to publication by working with external agencies and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders and functions to identify opportunities for content review, proofreading, and improvements.
- Be a storyteller by identifying the right type of content required across the customer journey and ensuring visual and copy consistency, and alignment across all publication channels whether printed or web-based.
- Continuously optimize the content and editorial process and contribute to increasing efficiency output quality and cultural balance for each market in the language/s that is required in each market.
- Translation from English to Arabic and Arabic to English of communication for external communication.
- Based on commercial and identified local needs, design and create new content and lead content adaptation.
- Participate in agile-style projects to quickly and efficiently deliver improvements.
- Regularly follow up on the performance of our printed/web content using analytics tools and identify learnings and insights for future assignments and projects.
- Expert grasp and understanding of IKEA tone of voice to motivate copywriting best practices within our markets.
- Review and secure the correct implementation of IKEA tone of voice in both internal, in-store and ,external media, in all the languages of our countries.

- Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of IKEA Brand, Culture and Values, concept, vision and business idea.
- Passion about doing the best for customers in order to grow.
- Computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English, French is a plus.
- French speaking – translators
- Superior writing skills in both Arabic and English.
- Excellent at storytelling and delivering clear messages.
- Excellent attention to details.
- High communication skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Capacity to commit and deliver to strict timelines.
