You’ll treat people of all ages with a wide range of diseases which is what makes being an ENT surgeon so interesting and rewarding. You’ll see more children than most other surgeons apart from those in pediatrics. You’ll treat conditions that affect the senses such as hearing and balance disorders or smell and taste problems. You’ll also treat patients with conditions that affect their voice, breathing and swallowing as well as those with head and neck tumors.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating a number of conditions that originate in the head and neck including upper; Respiratory infections, balance and hearing problems, and thyroid problems;
- Performing examinations and tests, including testing for allergens, infections and cancers;
- Prescribing medications, conducting treatment regimens, performing hearing tests, administering radiotherapy and referring patients to other medical specialists, including physical or speech therapies;
- Performing surgical procedures, such as a cochlear implant.
- Coordinate follow-up meetings with patients and monitor health conditions after surgery or treatment.
- Oversee all treatment prior to and post-surgery, and identify associated risks.
- Prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatment and procedures.
- Examine patients and make diagnoses to determine the need for surgery.
- Review patient medical history and plan the best procedure for treatment.
- Evaluate and advise patients on the risks involved with having surgery.

Education & Qualifications:
- MBBS and Specialty degree and high qualification (Specialty Diploma, Fellowship, PhD, Specialized board European/US/Canadian/GCC);
- Valid practice license;
- 3 years of experience after specialized board (US/Canadian/European or GCC);
- Not less than 20 years of experience, 10 years after highest qualifications;
- Willing to relocate within 3-4 months (after completion of MOH requirements).
