About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya is looking for aCommercial Director(Director of Sales and Marketing) who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Commercial Director will be a member of a dynamic team delivering great service to our internal and external guests. This position reports to the General Manager.
The Commercial Director forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively makes key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel.  Commercial Director is responsible to direct and oversee all marketing activities with the support of teams including, Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Public Relations and Revenue Management for the Hotel and ensure that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied. Moreover, to uncover, prospect and sell group and individual business, in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan and Budget. Also, monitor and motivate the sales activities and the sales team and to ensure that all sales persons' quotas are met. In addition, ensure that sales activities, individual accounts and group bookings are focused and coordinated with transient demand to yield the maximum revenue per available room. Finally, maximize sales in all hotel revenue areas and implement and support all FS Sales and Marketing strategies, plans and goals.
What you will do:

• The Commercial Director forms a part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel. 
  
• Will oversee and lead all Sales, Marketing, PR and Revenue activities with the support of teams including Sales, Catering, Reservations, Advertising, and Public Relations for the Hotel and ensures that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.
  
• We are looking for individuals who are strategic, proactive and who have a proven track record in both Sales and Marketing. 
  
• Applicants need to evidence strong revenue and budget management skills, have a creative flair for marketing, have good communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate effective leadership.
  
• Regular travel is required with this position.
  

What you bring: 
·      Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in related position with Four Seasons or other luxury organizations.
·       Reading, writing and oral proficiency in both English and Arabic languages is a must.
·       Must have a thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Sales and Marketing Division.
·       Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all responsibilities and tasks.
·       Must have a high degree of professional integrity, and be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
·       Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
·       Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Business/ Hospitality Management.
