About the job:


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Supervisor role to join the Housing Team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.


Your main duties will include:


  • Maintain housing list & administrator functions
  • Preparation of monthly time and attendance
  • Prepare a monthly departmental plan, nominate colleagues for the training
  • Update the colleague monthly training schedule; present the report to the L&D department
  • Preparation of various notices & memos
  • Coordinating with various departments as required supporting housing team day-to-day activities
  • Filing of all the necessary documents
  • Oversee the on-boarding activities to ensure accommodation for all colleagues are set up based on Jumeirah standards and ensure colleagues’ arrival process is efficient and welcoming
  • Ensure that all colleagues exiting the company complete appropriate clearance procedures in line with company policy and are processed accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Handle colleague complaints and feedback according to Jumeirah standards
  • Conduct periodic inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are met according to Jumeirah standards
  • Maintain accurate records of exiting colleagues in line with department SOP
  • Support colleagues with general requests, such as live-in, live-out, dual benefit, visiting family requests, and accommodation queries
  • Participates in celebrations & other housing activities
  • Weekly purchase request for accommodation in Tahweel System.
  • Handling Sick Leave situation
  • Collecting colleague postal mail from the post office
  • Liaises with pest control contracted company to ensure an effective program is in place
  • Liaises with contractors and facilities management to ensure all defects in all managed buildings are rectified as soon as possible
  • Liaise and monitor catering contractors to ensure delivery of high-quality food, service, and cleanliness in the colleague’s restaurant
  • Process all live-in and live-out application forms correctly and punctually to ensure correct room allocations and live-out payments in line with Accommodation Policies
  • Ensure that all department reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately to ensure compliance with audit procedures
  • Ensure proper control of keys of the complex to ensure colleagues' security
  • Is aware of the Company’s Quality Policy, Vision, Mission Statement, Guiding Principles, and Hallmarks; ensuring that these are put into practice in our daily work activities
  • Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.

Qualifications:


About you:


  • Able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Business English
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues and Management.
  • Preferred Arabic Speaker.
