Job Title: Cluster Director of Revenue Management About the Role:
As the Cluster Director of Revenue Management, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing all revenue-generating departments to maximize profitability. Using tools like IBP and adhering to IHG standards, you will oversee market analysis, pricing strategies, and system management. Your expertise will contribute to strategic decision-making across departments, ensuring a strong market position and financial success.
Key Responsibilities: - Revenue Optimization: Maximize room and banquet/catering revenues through effective pricing strategies, inventory management, and market mix decisions.
- Strategic Analysis: Analyze competitor rates, local market dynamics, and demand patterns to recommend and implement effective strategies.
- Collaboration: Lead cross-functional meetings, including weekly rate and sell strategy discussions with department heads.
- System Management: Oversee revenue systems such as Holidex Plus and yield management tools to ensure optimal performance and compliance with IHG standards.
- Market Insights: Conduct market research and manage competitor intelligence for all revenue-generating departments.
- Training & Development: Provide technical support and training for reservations and front office teams on up-selling and negotiating techniques.
- Compliance: Act as the guardian of IBP, ensuring adherence to all standards and processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the annual budget process and provide medium-term forecasts of staffing needs based on revenue projections.
What We’re Looking For: - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers, employees, and external stakeholders effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel pricing, yield management, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with revenue systems such as Holidex Plus, HIRO/IDEAS, and Property Management Systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in Revenue Management or Pricing.
