We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic real estate development team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects across our diverse portfolio of real estate developments.
Job Description:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of civil engineering for our real estate projects, from initial site assessment to final construction. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
This position includes but does not limit to the following:
· Conduct comprehensive site investigations, analyzing topographical data, soil conditions, and environmental factors to determine site suitability for development
· Design and oversee the implementation of essential infrastructure, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other site-specific requirements
· Develop detailed site plans that optimize land use while ensuring compliance with local zoning regulations and building codes
· Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
· Manage construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations
· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure timely project completion
· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements
· Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other technical data
· Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor, and manage project budgets effectively
· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns
· Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental protection standards
· Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant authorities
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve construction-related challenges
· Collaborate with the real estate team on corporate capital projects as needed
· Any other task as required by the management.
