We are expanding the career counseling program at American United School for the 2025-2026 school year and are looking for two innovative Career/College Counselors to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will guide students in turning their dreams into reality, helping them navigate their academic journeys while preparing for future success. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focusing on college and career readiness.
Organize college visits, career fairs, and workshops to enhance students’ understanding of post-secondary opportunities.
Provide resources and information on colleges, vocational schools, and career pathways.
Support students with college applications, including essays, interviews, and scholarship applications.
Advocate for students’ needs and work towards creating a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
Certification as a Guidance Counselor or Counselor.
Prior experience as a High School Career/College Counselor is required.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
