Job Description

Job Summary

The job holder will support the accounting and operational functions by maintaining the books of accounts for entities/ locations assigned, perform month-end closings, accounting analysis and reconciliation, budgeting and forecasting, audit preparation and involvement in various other financial & operational activities.




Candidate Requirements
  • Accounting or finance degree, preferably with a recognised accountancy qualification.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
  • Team player, hardworking and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to schedule priorities and multi-tasking.
  • Willingness to access additional responsibilities


Job Responsibilities
  • Liaise and collate source documents from various locations/ entities assigned, verify them for accuracy and authenticity and record transactions systematically.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journals and control accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain various schedules, reconciliations and other accounting records as required and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
  • Exercise control over expenses on the locations/ entities assigned.
  • Assist in accounts payable functions.
  • Assist in preparation of budgets for locations/ entities assigned and perform variance analysis.
  • Perform various regular/ ad-hoc analysis.
  • Actively participate in audits and provide the necessary support to auditors.
  • Respond to other accounting & reporting/ operational requests.
