Job Description

  • Financial management: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations. 
  • BSP and IATA compliance: Manage BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) and EasyPay transactions, ensuring compliance with IATA regulations. 
  • Accounting software: Proficient in using accounting systems such as Fiesta or similar travel agency software. 
  • Bank reconciliations: Prepare and reconcile bank statements with agency accounts. 
  • Profit and loss reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports. 
  • Customer and supplier accounts: Maintain accurate records of customer and supplier accounts, including payments, refunds, and balances. 
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for the agency. 
  • Audit support: Provide documentation and support during audits, both internal and external. 
  • Cash flow management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the smooth operation of the business. 
  • Expense tracking: Track and manage agency expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness. 
  • Payment processing: Handle airline ticket payments, refunds, and chargebacks with accuracy. 
  • Travel industry knowledge: Stay updated on travel industry standards, trends, and regulatory changes impacting financial operations. 


Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience with Fiesta Accounting Platform and IATA.
  • Knowledge of BSP and Easy Pay.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and its applications.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry.
  • Be ready to tackle the challenges in the core Finance domain.
  • Apt in handling financial tasks like budgeting, planning, and calculating variance which reduces business expenses.
  • Adroit soft skills to enable fluent in-house operations and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Presenting an in-depth analysis of the company's financial statements through concise reports.
