Job Summary:
Trane is hiring an Account Manager to join the newly formed Trane Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships and maximizing account share and customer retention with building owner accounts in Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
- Actively identify and pursue opportunities for chiller replacements and upgrades promoting Trane Building Advantage solutions.
- Collaborate with the fulfillment team to ensure seamless execution of projects from proposal to completion.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based considerations.
- Identify and position a unique value proposition directly with an owner.
- Utilize Account Management process to identify key customers and to develop specific action plans to grow identified accounts.
- Approach new prospects and identify business opportunities through cold calls.
- Gathers or validates preliminary information and performs facility walk-through to identify energy saving opportunities.
- Understand and present value of energy and operational savings and basic financial sales understanding.
- Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
- Meet or exceed sales and gross margin annual targets.
- Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC solutions, Trane Products, and relevant industry issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years sales experience in selling HVAC systems and solutions.
- Proven success in the aftermarket and existing building sector
- Must have Kuwait market experience.
- Strong network and connections with building owners and key industry stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, result oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of HVAC solutions including heating and cooling systems.
- Knowledge of control systems is an advantage.
- Experience in the industrial sector is an advantage
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
