The Government Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the relationship between the real estate company and governmental bodies in Kuwait. This position is essential for navigating the regulatory landscape, ensuring compliance, and advocating for the company's interests. The specialist will be responsible for understanding and interpreting laws and regulations that affect the real estate industry, facilitating communication between the company and government officials, and promoting a positive image of the organization within the public sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and agencies relevant to the real estate sector.
2. Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and their potential impact on the company’s operations.
3. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits, licenses, and approvals required for real estate projects.
4. Advocate for the company’s interests in discussions with government entities and industry associations.
5. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
6. Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences with government representatives.
7. Provide training and guidance to staff on government relations and compliance matters.
8. Prepare reports and presentations on government relations activities and outcomes.
9. Assist in crisis management and communication strategies related to government interactions.
10. Stay informed about industry trends and government initiatives that may impact the real estate sector.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Proven experience in government relations or a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations affecting the real estate industry.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
7. Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong ethical standards and integrity in all dealings.
11. He has experience working with the Ministry of Water and Electricity, the Ministry of Traffic, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Public Authority for Civil Information.
