As a Translator, you will provide linguistic advice concerning relevant documents.
Review translation drafts to ensure relevant terminology is correct in syntax, spelling, and meaning and is culturally acceptable Ensure translation of technical terms and terminologies are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions Perform other duties in line with the scope of work and as assigned
We will count on you to:
Translate project materials such as presentations, documents, policies, and articles ensuring that all required project deliverables are available in English and Arabic languages when required and are fully formatted Review required material and developed and review Arabic/English versions, ensuring that the context of the original text source is retained Maintain a library of reference terms and periodicals to remain abreast of terminology in the consulting industry
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, interpreting, or in any relevant field 2 – 4 years of experience in the translation field, preferably within a consulting firm Fluency in both English and Arabic language, any additional languages would be a plus Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors Familiarity with CAT Tools (Trados) Time-management skills
