JOB PURPOSE The Supply Planning Administrator is responsible for coordinating and following up on confirmed shipments, as well as procuring non-merchandise commodities and services in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procure requisitions, acquire items/services for operations, issue purchase orders to preferred suppliers, and resolve any issues related to supply orders.
- Collect and submit all necessary information and documents on suppliers/service providers to corresponding internal departments. Conduct continuous research to identify new potential suppliers and remain informed on new products.
- Provide operational support and coordinate with the shared services center in day-to-day activities.
- Oversee the warehouse team in managing deliveries to and from warehouses. Monitor warehouse operations costs and maintain appropriate stock levels for non-merchandise items.
- Follow up on license renewals, processes marine insurance claims, handle shop process claims, obtain necessary approvals, and register items with both private and public organizations to ensure a smooth flow of the supply chain.
- Validate purchase orders and invoices, oversee and negotiate small category contracts, conduct value analysis, and perform contract administration as needed.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency - Fluency in English.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Zero to one years of experience in a similar role.
