Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you'll be in charge of designing, developing, testing, and deploying distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions for our global customer base. In this role, you'll work closely with the product team to define the team's roadmap. You'll also lead the system architecture design, introduce best practices that ensure a high-quality product, and mentor and develop other engineers. A successful candidate will have a solid background in engineering large-scale software systems, strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 5+ years of highly scalable systems experience
- 10+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization
