About The Role
The purpose of the Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager is to lead the market teams in their growth planning and decision-making processes based on thorough analysis. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights and solutions to decision-makers through data analysis. This role will require you to work closely with General Managers, Supply Managers, Marketing Managers, and Central Growth Teams. In addition you will be providing insights and solutions to various growth issues while driving the strategic direction. Strong collaboration across the Careem footprint is essential for success in this role, as many projects are cross-functional in nature.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic direction to formulate annual plans, translate them into monthly KPIs, and support them with project management of weekly initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with market GMs and the central Growth team to identify growth bottlenecks across the supply and demand funnel.
- Utilize data analytics to design innovative growth hacks and short-term initiatives to continuously fuel the growth engine.
- Develop agile strategies and action plans to address dynamic market situations, such as unforeseen competitive moves, large campaign rollouts, new product releases, etc.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to compile a comprehensive list of strategic requirements for sustainable future growth.
- Align the market and growth function on devised growth initiatives and proposed pilots needed to meet weekly targets, ensuring their timely execution.
- Analyze the impact and sensitivity of initiatives to contribute to the growth playbook of the market, keeping our initiative list effective and relevant for each market.
- Act as a market ambassador for project management, cross-functional execution, and KPI monitoring of global initiatives.
- Model and track growth KPIs against daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Develop and implement effective reporting and assessment tools to minimize risk and proactively identify problematic areas.
- Develop a perspective on projected growth based on market dynamics, seasonality, and funnel efficiency to provide input into targeting and budgeting.

- A minimum of 6-8+ years of experience across various functions.
- Essential experience within the Jordan Market.
- Experience as an analyst at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment banking institution, or multinational corporation is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical ability, adept problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to drive results.
- Goal-driven with the capacity to achieve very aggressive targets.
- Effectively troubleshoot problems and collaborate within the team’s environment.
- Experience within the technology industry or startup environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Advanced SQL, Python, and Tableau; Oracle knowledge is good to have.
