### **Role Overview:**
As a **Test Engineer**, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and cases. You will work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, improve performance, and enhance the user experience of our systems and applications.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Test Planning and Design:**
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
- Design manual test scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and security.
2. **Test Execution:**
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing across various platforms.
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
3. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system functionality and requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback to enhance product quality.
4. **Documentation:**
- Document test results, defects, and testing progress to ensure visibility and traceability.
- Prepare and maintain testing reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

### **Key Requirements:**
1. **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- [2-6] years of experience in software testing (manual).
2. **Technical Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, SoapUI, Postman, or equivalent.
3. **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
4. **Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
