Software Engineer (Odoo)

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Odoo ERP platform and a strong track record of delivering complex Odoo projects. You will work closely with other developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy customized solutions that meet our clients' unique business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design customized Odoo solutions
• Develop and deploy new Odoo modules, applications, and integrations
• Maintain and optimize existing Odoo applications and modules
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
• Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of Odoo solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to creating a positive development culture
• Stay up-to-date with Odoo platform updates, community contributions, and new trends in ERP development

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• English: Strong written and spoken English is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Odoo framework and architecture, specifically with versions 14 and 17.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Odoo Engineer, with a focus on developing and customizing Odoo modules.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in object-oriented programming, Python, JavaScript, CSS, Linux, SQL Query, HTML, Git, PostgreSQL, and relational databases.
• Integration Experience: Experience in integrating Odoo with third-party APIs.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills; knowledge of design patterns is a plus.
