Job Description and Requirements

King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:



Service Support TechnicianII / help desk – AQABA Branch



Job Requirements:



Adhere to approved IT policies and internal regulations. Document all received problem calls (tickets) into the designated forms. This can be done either manually or electronically. Evaluate all ticketed problems received as software, hardware or networking. Prepare problem sheets. Distribute/assign ticketed problem to support staff. Follow up each problem ticket until its closure and completion. Collect all ticketed and non-ticketed problem sheets from staff, and validates its completeness, reconciles these sheets with the problem log. Resolve simple and non-complex user problems. Provide support and Installation for presentations. Provide support and help on presentation preparation issues. Resolve all IT related inquiries or direct these inquiries to related teams Fill the problem log sheet and the associated problem sheets daily. Filling capabilities. Inform the Head of Support Unit /Information Technology Manager of any unclosed problem tickets, at the end of each day. Arrange for weekly meeting with the Head of Support Unit/Information Technology Manager, to review methods for improvement and decreasing response times. Assume additional responsibilities as requested. Provide daily, weekly, or monthly performance report for his direct manager. Conducts provides support during normal business hours, shifts hours, and be available on-call as required. Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor.

Education and Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):



- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- One year of relevant experience.
- Must be a resident of the southern governorates.
- Excellent Problem solving skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent communication skills and Ability to work under pressure.
