Job Description
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Tamatem, you will be responsible for achieving the company’s hiring objectives by independently managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes sourcing, screening, assessing, and interviewing candidates across various levels and departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with hiring managers to understand and address their specific hiring needs.
- Prepare job postings and manage them across appropriate job boards and platforms.
- Independently source candidates using a range of channels, including LinkedIn, social media, and talent databases.
- Review resumes, profiles, and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates and arrange for any required pre-employment testing.
- Proactively monitor LinkedIn and other databases to build a strong candidate pipeline for current and future needs.
- Serve as a primary contact for candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout the hiring process.
- Accurately document candidate progress and interactions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support hiring managers in making hiring decisions and manage the entire onboarding process that includes contracts preparation, IT and admin setup preparation and conducting HR Induction for new joiners.
- Create and update job descriptions as needed.
- Maintain and promote Tamatem’s employer brand by communicating professionally with candidates, and participate in career fairs.
- Implement and follow best practices in recruitment and hiring.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and external service providers to expand sourcing options for part-time and freelance roles.
- Support the management team with manpower planning, report generation, and market research.
- Help review and update recruitment policies in collaboration with the management team.
- Manage grants that support hiring new talents, monitor progress toward target closures, and identify new talent grant opportunities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
