About the Job 

As a Senior Data Engineer - Python at Aspire, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions to support our clients' data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in Python will be essential in building robust, high-performance data systems while ensuring data quality, integration, and accessibility.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide support for data extraction and transformation.
  
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
  
• Work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
  
• Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
  
• Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
  
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and related technologies.
  

 What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or any IT related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field with a strong focus on Python development.
  
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and pipeline development.
  
• Proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Airflow) is a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
