Job Description
As a Senior
Business Development Manager at Aspire, you will play a critical role in
developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, driving sales
growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your focus will be on managing &
growing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and
contributing to the growth of our sales pipeline. In this role, you will work
closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions,
while providing strategic advice and support clients in their digital
transformation journeys.
What you’ll do
- Devise a BD strategy for Aspire in the KSA market, focusing on Digital Consulting, Data &AI and other niche technology services as focus
- Manage & grow key clients accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior decision-makers, C-level executives, and stakeholders.
- Drive sales growth through lead generation, prospecting, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales plans aligned with client needs and company goals. Track sales performance, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
- Work closely with the operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, from pre-sales to post-delivery.
- Ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure timely collection of client payments
- Stay updated on key industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Proactively identify opportunities to offer additional services and solutions to existing clients. Drive the sale of new services or upgrades that align with client growth strategies.
- Regularly update and maintain accurate sales forecasts, track progress against KPIs, and provide reports to senior leadership on account status and growth projections.
What you’ll
need
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business Management, or a
related field.
- 8+ Years in client-facing
roles within the IT sector, including business development and account
management in IT consulting and IT implementation businesses.
- 5+ Years in
successful business development and account management experience, especially
with clients in the Middle East, in industries such as Banking & Financial
Services, Insurance, Retail, eCommerce, and Digital Government.
- Strong
understanding of the IT services market in the Middle East & GCC (specially
the KSA), with experience in digital transformation, cloud computing,
automation, and data technologies.
- Experience
in working in Technology/ Digital Consulting domain is an added plus
- Expertise in
managing large, complex accounts and sales cycles, with the ability to build
relationships at the C-level and across senior leadership.
- Established
relationships and a strong network in at least 2-3 countries in the Middle East
(e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).
- Familiarity
with integrated, professional services engagements, including scope-based
project engagements and team augmentation.
- Strong
presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to manage clients
expectations and deliver persuasive value propositions.
- A
self-motivated individual who takes personal ownership of client relationships
and contributes to the overall success of the business.
- Experience
working with clients in the Banking & Financial Services, Insurance,
Retail, eCommerce, and Digital Government sectors is a plus.
- Awareness or
knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
