The Job in a Nutshell💡

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliation, as well as a thorough understanding of local tax regulations in Jordan. Proficiency in English and experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle NetSuite, are also essential.

What Will You Do❓

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.
• Utilize Oracle NetSuite or other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support decision-making processes.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support the month-end and year-end close process.
• Manage Social Security Account (Additions, Deletions, Payments, and More).
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting procedures to increase efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

What Are We Looking For❓

• • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. A professional certificate (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with hands-on experience in AP, AR, and bank reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations in Jordan.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• • Experience in a multinational company or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Experience in process improvement and system implementation.
