We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Purchasing & Logistics Manager to join our team and oversee procurement, supply chain operations, and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and cost efficiency.
- Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure high-quality standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Logistics Oversight: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research on market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and local/international regulations.
- Budget & Cost Optimization: Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the private sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics software.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in supplier relations and contract management.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
