Job Overview
We are hiring for a Presales Engineer to handle presales functions related to the company’s strategic products lines of Cloud and IBM software offerings, providing solution support throughout the available presales tools and resources to our brand business partner and customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Sales Team/ customers on proposals to understand and capture requirements and devise effective solutions.
- Working closely with the Sales Team on pitches for business.
- Solution approach selling, providing Integrated solutions.
- Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
- Preparing presentations and presenting to customers products or services with all their values and advantages.
- Ensuring that customers are aware, informed and trained on Vendor technologies and products.
- Ensuring that the assigned products meet the sales, profitability, stock and other KPIs of both the company and the related Vendors.
- Aligning with the Vendors to create and realize pricing and marketing activities. In alignment with the Vendor, understanding targets and planning short-term and long-term budgets.
- Creating, leading and driving related marketing, sales and educational activities both physical and digital on a regular basis.
- Coordinating and organizing of demand generating activities like tradeshows, events or customer workshops.
- Ensuring that pricing of related products within the company, including the company’s e-commerce is correct.
- Obtaining market information to identify market needs and opportunities. Obtaining market share information by communicating with partners, Vendors and other sources.
- Providing presales support following a “solution approach” to reseller channel with primary focus on Security, Data & AI, Automation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Training the reseller’s Presales/ Sales Team on product and services of the brand.
- Keeping up with vendor technological trends and products as well as sales and presales certifications to ensure a high level of technological awareness and understanding, including holding and maintaining the necessary certificates for Logicom to meet Vendor requirements.
- Performing any other related tasks that would be assigned or deemed necessary by the Company's Management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in a Technology distributor will be considered an advantage.
- Dynamic personality, well spoken, with customer facing characteristics.
- Certifications in Cloud, Data & AI, Automation is preferred.
- Presentation skills
