POSITION OVERVIEW
New World for General Trading was established in 2017 to practice general trading and manufacturing, the manufacturing division looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales & Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of simulation kits for educational learning, vocational training, and industrial production lines. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, providing both engineering design solutions and pre-sales support to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical design, simulation, and manufacturing processes, as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs needed researches, visits, calls, and studies to prepare technical and cost analyses for allocated tenders.
- Prepares complete Bid documentation including compliance sheet, technical proposal, products catalog, drawings, financial offer, replies to client’s inquires and communications, etc.
- Preparing “Technical Proposals”, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the Sales Manager.
- Design mechanical or electrical components for simulation kits used in education and vocational training.
- Develop CAD models, electrical schematics, and technical drawings for production.
- Ensure designs align with industry standards and educational requirements.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and bill of materials (BOM) for production.
Skills
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical).
- Up to three years of experience in similar positions (fresh-graduates are most welcomed) (Females are most welcomed).
SKILLS NEEDED
- Proficient knowledge in AUTOCAD design (SolidWorks is plus).
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and Archive.
- Adequate knowledge in (Illustrator or Photoshop design is plus).
- Technical writing and communication skills.
- Attention to details and creative problem solving.
