About the job
As a Power BI Developer at
Aspire, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring their accuracy and performance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate raw data into meaningful insights. Leveraging your expertise in data visualization and analytics, you will optimize reporting solutions, automate data workflows, and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvement of Power BI solutions.
What you’ll do
Develop, publish, and schedule interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
Optimize data models for efficient and scalable Power BI solutions.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL, APIs, and flat files.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reports.
Create technical documentation for Power BI solutions.
Stay updated on Power BI features and trends.
What you’ll need
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or any IT-related field.
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with SQL and database systems.
Familiarity with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
Knowledge of backup and recovery tools and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
