Job Description
- Manage and multi-task in all areas and functions in the shop from selling, planning, check-out, customer services, replenishment and IFB services in an efficient, reliable, accurate and friendly way.
- Optimize the IKEA shopping experience to secure satisfied customers and increase sales.
- Maximize sales in my shop by using the knowledge of the product range, top sellers, local market, and customers.
Key assignments
- Multifunctional and juggle work in all areas of the shop depending on the needs each time of the day.
- Actively approach customers, identify their needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes to exceed their expectations.
- Actively offer all the services and solutions to the frequently asked questions and help in a better future shopping experience for our customers.
- Understand how to use the different IKEA sales and communication channels and know-how for the different customers you meet.
- Keep your shop clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA merchandising basics are always in place to give customers a positive shopping experience.
- Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, and you share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- Understand the shop action plans and taking ownership for your part in its delivery.
- Ensure you maximize sales whilst maintaining profitability by knowing and actively steering towards the prioritized products.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
- Enthusiastic and able to work with others in a team.
- Open to change/highly flexibility.
- Ability & willingness to multi-task in all areas and functions in the shop.
- Excellent communication & social skills
- Computer literacy, ability to use Planning tools.
Additional Information
- This is a temporary role for 6 months.
